spent time at OldTown. went there with mummy. she likes the hot chocolate and the toast there.

playing with Darling. she always anticipates my return cos i will give her treaties and set her free. i like to see her running like mad.

Red Bean Soup

Yesterday, my housemate was cooking red bean soup and I was her helper. Nothing to help though. Just look and take some snapshot so I can share the recipe with you girls. It is an easy and fast dessert to prepare.

Ingredients:
- red beans
- dried longan
- brown sugar
- pandan leaves


Method:

1) Boil a pot of water.

2) Put pandan leaves into the boiling water and boil till fragrant. Then remove the pandan leaves.
3) Add red beans and dried longan. Boil in low heat until the beans are softened or beginning to split apart.

4) Add brown sugar and stir until dissolved.

5) Serve the red bean soup hot or cold. :)

Got from this site, for the beauty-conscious, it is rumored to be great for getting rid of dark circles under the eyes! OMG is this true??? I am going to get a sack of red bean tomorrow.

Dim Sum at Dai You Bin

It is very rare for me to wakeup early in the morning when I sleep in an aircon room, but I did it last Sunday. So we went to have dim sum in SP's most famous dim sum restaurant - Dai You Bin.

Since when Altera opened a branch in Mutiara Damansara? Saw this while walking from The Curve to IKEA. It is right in the Ikano Power Centre.

I seriously think that I need to apply internal transfer to work there. Okay, the job scope might be totally different but I really don't mind learning as long as I get to work there. :P

Hotdog Salad

I have invented a new kinda food.. I was not sure whether this is a correct combination but I just dumped all the food that I bought at the store. I wandered around the store without a list and just picked whatever that took my fancy. As a result, they couldn't make a complete set of ingredients if I were to follow the proper recipe from the book.

Ingredients:
- sausage
- cucumber
- tomato
- egg
- Thousand Island dressing
- mayonnaise

Method:

1) Cut the sausages, cucumbers, tomatoes and eggs into bite-sized cubes.
2) Mix them all together.
3) Add thousand Island dressing and mayonnaise.
4) Stir well.
It looked ugly... hahaha... The white rats who ate this experimental dish are still alive. So this experiment is tested to be positive!

Nasi Padang, Jusco Food Court, QB Mall

After reading Wenlynn's blog, I was really tempted to try this out... It was my first time stepping into the food court of QB mall.. Normally i will try to stay 5 metres away from the food court entrance due to the strong smell, but this time i am willingly walk inside and let myself got smoked! haha.. and i tell u, it's worth! :)

Summary of April's

Sorry for neglecting my blog for some time.. Can see that my posting was dropping quite drastically.. haha .. I will do it now, all in one shot… there were a lot of things happened in the month of April...

First of all, I got my hair permed!

Went out with the girls to watch Confessions of a Shopaholic! Had dinner after the movie at this place! Took photo with my surname on the background!

Boiled water and nearly burnt the whole kitchen!

Home-made sushi from a friend and best layer cakes from another... both at the same time! Thanks! :D
