Of course nowadays souvenir shops do offer gift wrapping services as well and moreover, it is free of charge. But wrapping the presents ourselves is like more meaningful by adding a personal touch into it. It is kind of a way to show that we are not only spending money in buying that present, but also putting a lot of effort in making it pleasant to be received :) Hence I always treasure a present that is nicely wrapped :P
So today I will show you guys how to wrap presents! The items are - a jar and a box. It is very simple and hope you will like it. :D

Materials:
- wrapping paper
- decorative ornament
- ribbon
- scissors
- cellophane tape

Steps:
1) Cut the paper in a size that is enough to cover the jar completely. Make sure there is extra few inches after covering it. Spread the paper and put the jar in the middle.
2) Wrap it and grasp the 4 edges of the paper tightly and tie with a ribbon.
3) Tie the flower ribbon and trim off the tail with a diagonal cut across the ends. Don't throw away the tail, keep it for other use. Bravo! We are done with the jar. :)
4) Now it is the time for the second item - rectangular shaped box. Place the box on the paper to roughly measure the size. Make sure there is extra at the edges after we have fold it over to cover the whole box.
5) If the paper is too big, you can trim it so that the remaining flaps are short enough to fold over smoothly into flaps. Here, I choose not to waste it and make it short by using other way.
6) Fold it in the middle and overlap the small portion several times to make some flaps. Repeat until the paper is small enough.
7) Wrap the box.
8) Put on the remaining ribbon. If the ribbon is not long enough to tie a bow across the box at 4 edges, try tie it at across the diagonals only.
